Welcome to EiffelCam

EiffelCam is a webcam / computer instrument capturing images of the world's most recognized structure, the Tour Eiffel in Paris, France. This site is a tribute to the genius and vision of Alexandre Gustave Eiffel.

The camera is located a distance of approximately 285 meters from the base of the Eiffel Tower. By comparison, the top of the tower is approximately 300 meters from its base. The camera captures an image of the tower every few seconds, and additionally records the ambient temperature, barometric pressure, and relative humidity. These data are available on the Internet from the following sources :

(1) The EarthCam Network is featuring EiffelCam at this link. The wizards at EarthCam have created a way cool Flash display of the Tower with zoom & pan controls, and time-lapse animations. Be sure to click the "Hall of Fame" tab just above the image to see the comments. Post your own.

(2) Every 15 minutes, EiffelCam sends a 768x1024 pixel image to this link.

(3) The Weather Underground holds current EiffelCam images and time-lapse videos in their web cams section, available at this link.
